In most cases, you can just let it melt on its own. This could take a day or two or several weeks depending on the type of snow (wet & heavy vs light & fluffy) as well as the temperatures and cloud cover. Its not uncommon for solar panels to be covered with snow for several weeks at a time.

Maybe. If you can safely remove the snow on your own, then perhaps it worth it, but if you have to pay someone to come remove the snow, then probably not. The cost to remove the snow will likely not be recouped by the extra solar production during the Wisconsin winter months.
